This year, Yellow Leaf is at the Meeting musical des Monts-Dore: two months of courses (violin, piano, accordion, organ, flute…) with teachers who are as gifted as they are good at teaching.

We are handling the sound recording of the piano concerts in the final week, on behalf of the Respir’ association, which co-organises the event. It is a chance for the course participants to play in real recording conditions. Many thanks to Hervé Dupuis for the invitation.

On the technical side: live recording of two pianos played as a duo, a delicate exercise, using MOTU, Neumann and Oktava equipment in an ORTF configuration.
