Jackie Darling is an indie folk-pop duo based in Montreuil, near Paris, writing original songs in English. Somewhere between Simon & Garfunkel and Mumford & Sons, their music blends folk, pop and rock, built on harmonies and a “raw” acoustic sound with no effects.
Vocals, guitars, bass, percussion, harmonica, recorder and even a bell: on stage the duo is energetic, joyful and warm, and wins over any audience, English-speaking or not. A solo version, voice and acoustic guitar, is also available.
